Heaton 1 year photo shoot

Luckily we have the best cousin ever who rescues us when we space and need pictures at last minute. Thank you, Chelsie (Sylvester) Carter photography for the DARLING pics. Here are a few of our favs!

Heaton's First Birthday (Little Lumberjack)

I went with this theme, basically because the cake looked easy to make haha..

I got a lot of my ideas from www.catchmyparty.com

Here is the invitation. I stole lots of ideas from different boards off Pinterest but made it myself.

He was so happy for his birthday. Here he is waiting for the fun to begin!

Family pic

Chalkboard with some facts and funs about Heater Bug.
Thank you Tara Redd for letting us borrow your chalkboard! :)

Food Table

We went with chili in a frito bag, easy and simple and yummy.

Trees were made with pretzels and melted green chocolates (easiest and yummiest snack there!)

The flapjack cookies were just sugar cookies with a maple syrup frosting, the butter slab was just fondant.

I wish I could take credit for the cupcakes, however they were made by "Salt Cake City". Thank you to Grandma Jodi for grabbing them for us. My dad made the cupcake tier out of tree cookies.

"Sweet Timber" thank yous. Baggies with kit kats and twix candy bars.

Guest seating.

ONE banner out of fabric scraps and burlap.

The gift table. It is safe to say that he was spoiled rotten.

Good thing we had lots of little helpers or it would have taken Heaton quite a while to open ALL those presents!

The cake.

Cake Smash time! He was so polite for quite a while.

But oh, it was so good!

 And.... I'm done!

Uncle Race helped smear the chocolate I'm afraid.

I totally spaced on getting pictures of all the guests. We are sure lucky to have such wonderful and supportive friends and family.

Guests that attended: Uncle Race and Aunt Carly

-Aunt Macie
-Grandpa Rhet and Grandma Kim
-Great Grandpa Lynn and Grandma Cher
-Grandma Jodi, Aunt Kennedi and her friend Chaylor
-Great Aunt Lori, and cousin Kaetz
-Shakespears: Coach, Stacey, Kray, Brage, Kazee, and baby Axtin

There were so many that couldn't attend but sent gifts and love for our little guy, including his Aunt Sa Sa (Scarlet) who is on a mission in Canada.

Happiest birthday, sweet boy!! We love you more than we thought was ever possible.
